first inside your head
Then it passes through my hands, one stitch at a time. Bags, cardigans and blankets: choose the model, the yarn and the colours, see straight away how it is made and what it costs, and order it right here — the work starts the next day.

Who is behind it
I learnt as a child,
and never stopped
Lotus Crochet is a small studio, the kind where every ball of yarn is known by name. It comes from the idea that something made by hand should look like the person who will use it, not like a catalogue: that is why here you do not pick between three ready-made versions, but between every combination the yarn allows.
The lotus is the right symbol for work like this. It grows slowly, opens one petal after another and in the end floats as if it had always been there. The pieces follow the same rhythm: no mass production, no rush, and a single pair of hands from beginning to end.
Yarns chosen by hand
Lycra ribbon, faux-leather yarn, cotton, linen blends, wool and top-quality anti-pilling acrylic. Every yarn finds its inspiration.
No two pieces alike
Even ordering the same model twice, the tension of the hand changes. Personalisation is what makes it unique.

The configurator
Build your piece,
the price updates by itself
Start from the model, then decide yarn, colours and finishing. Combinations that do not exist disappear on their own, so only what can really be made stays on screen. When you are happy, you pay with PayPal without leaving the page.

Four shapes, from compact bags to a roomy beach tote. Lycra ribbon yarn, metallic lycra and cords change the weight, structure and the way the stitch catches the light.

The work begins
The piece is made by hand, one stitch at a time. A couple of progress photos arrive along the way: many people keep those longer than the piece itself.
- 04
It arrives
Tracked shipping and packaging looked after down to the smallest detail, with the care advice handwritten on the card.
Lead times: on average 2–4 weeks depending on the model and the time of year. Before Christmas the list gets longer, so for gifts it is worth moving by October. Tracked shipping worldwide · Italy 6,90 €, free over 150 € · Europe 16,90 €, free over 250 € · Rest of the world 29,90 €.
Pieces that have left the studio
How they really turn out
Photos of finished pieces are worth more than any on-screen render: yours will have the same workmanship, in the yarn and colours you choose.

Before you ask
The questions that always come up
If yours is not here, write on Instagram: answering is the easiest part of the job.
How long does it take to arrive?
It depends on the piece: a bag is ready in two or three weeks, a top in two to four, a blanket in three to five, and a cardigan can take six because it is worked to your measurements. The indicative time is written on every model in the configurator.
Can I pay on the site?
Yes. You build the piece, put it in the basket and pay with PayPal — with your account or a card, without registering. The total is recalculated by our server against the official price list, so the figure you see is exactly what you are charged. If you would rather talk first, write to us on Instagram and we will think it through together, no obligation.
Do you ship outside Italy?
Yes. Shipping is tracked everywhere and the cost changes with the zone: Italy, Europe or the rest of the world. The zone is set by the country of the address you type in the basket, and the total updates immediately. For destinations outside the European Union, any duties and customs charges are paid by whoever receives the parcel: they depend on the country and we cannot work them out for you.
Is the colour on my screen the real one?
Almost. Every screen renders shades slightly differently and natural yarns vary between batches. If the colour matters — a gift, a precise match — ask us for a photo of the ball in daylight before confirming: we are happy to do it. This applies above all to the pastel lycra range, where the exact shade is agreed together.
Can I ask for a size or a colour that is not listed?
Yes, that is what the "special requests" field in the configurator is for. Non-standard measurements, colours sourced on purpose, a cardigan designed from scratch: we look at each case and tell you in advance if there is a surcharge.
How do I wash it?
Cotton takes a 30-degree machine wash inside a mesh bag, dried flat and never tumble-dried. Wool is hand-washed in cold water. Lycra ribbon and faux leather are cleaned with a damp cloth. Every piece arrives with its own instruction card.
Can I change my mind or return it?
Every piece is made specifically for you, so it does not fall under the ordinary right of withdrawal. Precisely for that reason, as long as we have not started, all you need to do is write to us: we cancel and refund in full. If instead a manufacturing fault turns up, we fix it or remake it ourselves.
Do you make favours and multiple orders?
Yes, and they are among the most frequent requests. For quantities above ten pieces write to us directly instead of using the basket: lead times and unit price change, and it is better to organise the work together a few months ahead.
